Digital Leader Keynote
summary
From a physical real estate model to a data-driven platform model.
- Industry shift: from physical to digital.
- The role of technology in the business transformation.
- The core: economic sovereignty
This session explores how APCOA is transforming from a traditional parking operator into a data-driven mobility platform.
For decades, APCOA has operated as a classic parking provider built around physical infrastructure—garages, barriers, tickets, and cash payments. Today, however, cities, vehicles, and customer expectations are evolving, and value creation is increasingly shifting from physical space to data and digital services.
The session explains how parking garages are evolving into urban hubs, supporting services such as micro-logistics, e-mobility charging, mobility services, last-mile integration, and data-driven services.
The session deep dives into the key technological elements, the transformation journey, and the key partnerships along that journey.
At its core, this transformation represents not just an IT migration project, but a fundamental shift in the business model, powered by technology.
